Using Garden Benches and Arbors to Enhance your Outdoor Spaces
I have worked really hard over the past several years to make my garden a precious place to be. However, I find that when I have parties, my guests visit my garden for a brief stroll or a smoke, but they always end up back in my house. I have thought about this all winter and this spring I am going to add two things that I believe will change the atmosphere and make my garden area a more welcoming area.
The first thing I am going to add is some garden benches. That way my guests have a place to sit and relax. They might actually enjoy my roses if they can sit and smell how nice they smell. They’ll also get to know my koi they way I do if they can sit by the pond and watch them swim and play.
The other thing I am going to add is arbors. I think arbors will clearly define where my garden begins and where my house ends. This might encourage my friends to linger in these in between spaces and enjoy my climbing, flowering plants.
