Two years ago my husband surprised me with a used greenhouse that he bought off a friend of his. While it was in pretty good shape there were a couple of things right off the bat that I noticed needed to be corrected. The first thing I noticed was there were no vents in the bottom of the covering and none at the top either. This was not good so I quickly ordered vents to let the cooler air come in and as it heated up it could go out the top with a newly installed louver. When ordering supplies for your green house, don’t forget to order racks for your plants. These will help you organize the space and stay cleaner as well. If racks don’t come with your grow house you will be glad you got them.
Last year I also changed the green house covering all together and put a much better skin on it so I could grow throughout the entire year. I needed a lot better insulation to protect the delicate plants during the winter months. Of course during the summer I had some much needed shade clothes to cut the heat. The bottom line is to get the tools you need so you can be successful at greenhouse gardening.
