Nothing says medieval to the avid fan or historian than the swords that were used during the days of the past where their use were but an accessory to the highlighted events such as wars and battles between kingdoms. Because of the diversity of the kingdoms, clans, as well as other groups had their own battle styles, the swords they made also varied. One of the most remembered battle swords during the medieval times was the classical hand and a half sword.
If you still don’t know, it was also popularly known as the bastard sword. While these swords look good and can deliver fast yet great blows to the target, the sword is incredibly light and easy to carry. Generally the sword is meant for slashing attacks, but it’s also good for thrusting moves.
To complete the set the Hand and a Half Sword also includes a very attractive black wooden scabbard attached to a black cape, making a good cover for swords whether as storage or display. Medieval swords fans should not be without this one.
