They generally grow at the tips of the branches while one inch spines grow along the smooth truck and other parts of the branches. The Dwarf Black Olive is an evergreen tree, but it does produce small, black seeds every year. Just don’t eat them—they aren’t edible. I had to present an award recently for someone in my line of work, and because I’m a sea mammal lover, I wanted to wear something with a lot of punch to make a point.
